The project goes back to 1994. The program mostly includes: recreational spaces, galleries and temporary exhibition spaces, offices, commercial facilities and etc.

The subject area, which is a part of Isfahan’s Char-Bagh eastern front, lies between Bazar-e –Boland (elongated Bazar) and Darvaze-Dolat square. This front as well as the Safavid palaces and gardens are considered as one of the main sectors of Isfahan’s cultural-historical zone.

The spatial and formal configuration of this proposal guarantees the preservation of spatial and visual significance of prominent buildings in the subject area (such as Char-Bagh school and Hasht-Behesht mansion. On the other hand it also tends to revitalize the historic presence of Khargah mansion and to establish spatial, visual, and functional connection between Char-Bagh and the complex of Safavid gardens. This proposal was submitted in the competition held by municipality of Isfahan, for designing the eastern body of Char-Bagh, and won the first prize.
