Poulad Shahr-Iran 1971

The main concept of the master plan of Pouladshahr is to organize the buildings within small blocks with transportation and service facilities, green areas and etc.

Block A4, This block being located between block A6 (located in the north of the district), central zone of district A (in south east), the urban roadway of Pouladshahr (in the west) and the Pouladshahr-Najaf abad transportation road, has a prominent unique geographic position.

The central zone of the district A that is separated from the block A4 via a water channel is about 13 hectares in area and will embody facilities such as high schools, a sport complex, a commercial center and green landscape. Block A4 is one of the blocks of the district A that have maximum access to these facilities. In addition along the urban access road that passes by this block and also in the city center (within a reasonable distance from this access road) vast number of facilities are devised to serve the needs of the inhabitants of block A4.It is worth mentioning the role of these facilities in responding to daily requirements of the block A4 inhabitants.

Block B6,
Block B6 is a part of district B of Pouladshahr that is located in east sector of the district center and covers an area of 27.5 hectares.
The main objective of the design has been to engender a coherent network of open and closed urban spaces such as squares, pedestrian routes, bazaar, and roadways. These will be organized in a ring, which constitutes the main organizing pattern of the district. The service facilities are set around the mentioned spaces to serve the block and its subdivisions. Deploying these strategies we have succeeded to control the intervention between pedestrian and automobile traffic.
